alhamdulillah, was salatu was salaam 3la rasool illah.
in my opinion…
i, as a muslim, am justified in being confused about the belief system of other faiths…(as a good reason why; even the leaders of other faiths can’t offer concrete explanations to their own people regarding the beliefs…. ..”son, it’s a mystery…no one can fully grasp it…,” etc. In other words, teh fact that no one* understands those fundamental beliefs plays a role in my confusion…among other factors)…
i don’t think it’s reciprocal. -i.e., I don’t think anyone could ever be confused about worshipping the one who created you….about how it’s only 1 being… (i.e., i don’t think anyone can ever be confused about teh fundamentals of what i believe).
does this not say something? is islam not clear and easy to grasp? a four year old child already knows (and quite possibly believes) the main aqeedah of islam (there is no deity worthy of worship except God–i.e., there is only one God–so you should worship Him, alone). But a four year old can never grasp an idea like the trinity. (ever.) I can’t understand it, and I’m 21…. 😦 In fact, forget me (little old me); church authorities can’t even understand it.
So, again, i, as a muslim, am justified in being confused about the belief system of other faiths–but i doubt that anyone can ever be confused about “1 God. Worship Him. That’s it.”
I feel like i should have written more and cleaned up this post, a bit (in terms of grammar and all that fun stuff) but my back hurts and i’m tired… (blegh).
Anyways, as salam alaikum, and thank u for reading ….
