Wealth and sons are allurements of the life of this world: But the things that endure-good deeds-are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best as (the foundation for) hopes.
-Surat al-Kahf (the Cave), 18:46.
-Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reports that the Prophet p.b.u.h. said: “Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf (the Cave) on Fridays will have illumination (light) from one Friday to the next.” (an-Nasa’i, al-Baihaqi, and al-Hakim)
-Also: Abu Darda’ reported Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: If anyone learns by heart the first ten verses of Surat Al-Kahf, he will be protected from the trials brought by the Dajjal (the anti-Christ). (Sahih muslim Book 004, Hadith 1766)
